Perhaps this is childlike, but it is still boggles my mind to understand how seeds this size can turn into plants this size. 
It's amazing!
This is what my little garden looked like before I harvested the basil and made pesto (excuse the dead cilantro there on the end that speedily went to seed and then died...I guess I'm still having a hard time letting go :)
I was sure the pesto would use up tons of the basil…but it didn’t even take half. Anyone want some?
